Job Description

Shift: All Shifts
Hours: 1st shift 6am-2:15pm
2nd shift 2pm-10:15pm
3rd shift 10pm-6:15am

Pay: $13.00/HR.

• Responsible for preparing and transporting product to the packaging area.
• Responsible for inspecting product to ensure quality
• Document and track usage of hand jacks and follow battery charging cycle.
• Ensure high standards of candy output from tumbler.
• Follow appropriate Capol guidelines.
• Assist mogul crew in catching candy when needed.
• Complete COB tag when catching candy from Mogul and verify information at feeder.
• Follow first in/first out for curing and tray usage process.
• Be able to recognize incorrect and/or defective product and report to Team Lead immediately.
• Inspect and pick whenever feeding and tray dumping.
• Document on first in/first out and tracking of bulk usage.
• Follow shake out and change over process.
• Complete QAR reports and perform water activity tests
• Responsible for set up, control, operation and troubleshooting of Robot
• Ensure correct type, height and count of trays is utilized
• Follow first in/first out for tray usage process, verify product delivered is oldest.
• Inspect Code date legibility and proper sealing.
• Maintain work area clean by utilizing proper cleaning tools (vacuum) and follow GMP and Food Safety regulations.
• Be able to operate, monitor, and troubleshoot (mechanical problems & jams) feeder and stacker.
• Expected to function as part of a team that ensures reliability and efficiencies on mogul.
• Complete and follow cure room schedules for readiness.
• Perform proper LOTO procedures
• Be able to report weighs and counts accurately.
• Be able to collect overflow cartons when needed.
• Perform related duties as assigned or required.
• Ability to operate electric or manual pallet jacks.
• Ability to pull pallets.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., in order to dump candy on conveyor belts. (Moguls & Roll-Ups Kitchens)
• Inspect Code date legibility and proper carton sealing every ½ hour; ensure it matches in pouch, carton and case.
• Perform other duties in the plant as requested to meet production efficiencies.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain compliance of Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Must comply with Company Policies, as well as, promotes safety and safe work conditions.
• Must comply, promote and maintain an environment consisted with Security regulations.
• Must be able to work weekends.

• E-Verify
• Lifting: raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position. (Min 2 lbs./ Max 50 lbs.)
• Walking, standing, stooping for long periods of time.
